Hokkaido University Faculty of Medicine and the Next Generation Cancer Professional Training Plan will be holding an online public lecture titled "The Front Lines of Cancer Treatment 2024" from February 15th to February 29th.

Sapporo Medical University, Hokkaido University, Asahikawa Medical University, and Hokkaido Medical University are participating in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's 4th stage cancer control promotion basic plan "Next Generation Cancer Professional Training Plan" (Cancer Pro) as a four-university joint project. Cancer Pro brings together the wisdom related to advanced cancer treatment promoted by four medical universities in Hokkaido, collaborates with core medical institutions in Hokkaido, and trains the next generation of cancer medical personnel. This is a graduate school education program.

This public lecture will be held as part of this project to provide the general public with the latest information and knowledge on cancer treatment, etc., and to inform them of the current status of cancer treatment from various perspectives.
