Our University's Faculty of Health Sciences will hold the "Hokkaido University Health Charity Lecture."

Hokkaido University Faculty of Health Sciences has Department of Health Sciences, which provides education in the following majors: Nursing, Radiation Technology, Medical Technology, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. These professionals play an essential role in the medical field and make important contributions to society.

Currently, there is a lack of funds to maintain the quality of education. Therefore, we we established a fund named after Dr. Hiroyuki Date (late Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences), who passed away suddenly in the summer two years ago, and decided to hold a charity lecture. The lecturer will be Dr. Hiroki Shirato (Professor, Faculty of Medicine, Hokkaido University), who has been conducting joint research with Dr. Hiroyuki Date for many years. Participation is free, but donations from 1,000 yen per unit are accepted. Donations to this charity lecture will be funding for the Hiroyuki Date Fund of Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University. With your warm support, we hope that we can play a role in contributing to the future of Faculty of Health Sciences, Hokkaido University and to public health.
