Our university's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will hold an exhibition of ``Genki Shop Ikoruru'' and a lecture for students and faculty ``Thinking about Autism Spectrum Disorder in Adulthood'' in connection with 2021's Disability Week. ~From the problems of those involved to the support that people around them can provide.''

 

Based on the Basic Act on Persons with Disabilities, the period from December 3rd to 9th of each year is designated as “Disabled Persons Week.” The Cabinet Office is implementing various initiatives to support the independence and social participation of people with disabilities, mainly during "Disabled Persons Week."

 

Exhibition of “Genki Shop Ikoruru”

The city's employment support facility for people with disabilities, Genki Shop Ikoru, will be holding an exhibition at Hokkaido University Museum 1st floor lecture room, Knowledge Crossroads. We sell sweets, bread, wooden toys, Christmas miscellaneous goods, etc.
