On Tuesday, November 7, 2020, Hokkaido University, Tadao Ando Architectural Institute, and Sapporo City held a basic agreement signing ceremony for the "(tentative name) Children's Book Forest."
　
"Children's Book Forest" is a library facility for children donated to local governments by world-renowned architect Tadao Ando, who himself paid for the design and construction costs. In response, the three parties agreed to establish a Children's Book Forest (tentative name), with Sapporo City also participating in its management, and Sapporo City and our university cooperating.
