The Future Earth Japan Committee will hold the "3rd Future Earth Japan Summit 2023" on November 21st.

In this event, we will discuss the urgent and huge challenges facing us, ranging from the climate and environmental crises such as global warming and the deterioration of biodiversity, to the challenges of peace and people, such as the coronavirus pandemic and conflicts between nations and ethnic groups. We will discuss issues related to life.
Yugo Ono, professor emeritus of our university, will give the invited keynote lecture, and Taro Yamauchi, professor and director of the Environmental Health Science Research Center, will coordinate "Subcommittee 1: Planetary Health."
