The Hokkaido University Botanical Garden will be holding a special exhibition titled "Tomitaro Makino and the Plants of Hokkaido" from November 4th to March 30th.

In this special exhibition, panels will introduce Dr. Tomitaro Makino's achievements, botanical paintings, and his relationship with Hokkaido's plants and the Hokkaido University Botanical Garden. Along with this, botanical paintings of plants related to Makino will also be exhibited.

*The botanical garden will only be open to the public in the greenhouse from November 4th.
