Our university's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will hold a purple illumination of the Furukawa Auditorium and a harassment lecture titled "Current Situation and Countermeasures for Sexual Harassment at Universities" on November 22nd.
Our university strongly supports the Cabinet Office's ``Movement to Eliminate Violence Against Women''. Continuing from last year, the Koga Auditorium, a historic building at our university, will be lit up in purple, the movement's symbol color, in an effort to raise awareness among university members about respect for women's human rights and against harassment and discriminatory speech and behavior.
The harassment lectures are also open to students and faculty members enrolled at higher education institutions, as well as anyone outside the university who is interested.
