``SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien,'' a contest in which high school students work in teams to come up with action ideas to solve social issues, will be held again this year. Entries are being accepted until December 20th for the "SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien" Hokkaido tournament.

"SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien" is a competition in which high school students form teams, independently explore SDGs, and create, present, and award various action ideas. It has been held since 2019, and this is the fifth time. Each area is operated by forming partnerships through industry-government-private collaboration between local governments, educational institutions, local media, companies, and organizations. The Hokkaido tournament is managed by the "SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien Hokkaido Tournament Executive Committee," with Professor Makoto Demura of the University's Faculty of Advanced Life Science serving as executive committee chair.

Climate change, energy, biodiversity, gender, water... How can we solve the various problems facing the earth and human society? SDGs QUEST Mirai Koshien is a contest where high school students come up with and present ideas for "SDGs actions" that will provide solutions. We will encourage more people to take action, reward ideas based on new and fun ideas, and support action.
