With Rapidus Inc.'s decision to establish a cutting-edge semiconductor factory in Chitose City, Hokkaido, efforts to promote the semiconductor industry in Hokkaido are rapidly progressing. In this context, our university established the Semiconductor Center Promotion Headquarters on October 1st in order to contribute to solving national, regional, and industrial issues as a hub for industry, academia, and government, and to promote semiconductor-related research and human resource development at our university.
