Our university library is holding a special panel exhibition called ``Karafutonayoro Sootna Documents (Yaenkoro Ainu Documents) Exhibition'' from September 15th to November 19th.

The "Karafutunayoro Sootname Documents (Yaenkoro Ainu Documents)" owned by the University Library was designated as a national important cultural property on July 23, 2019. This document is a collection of documents that was kept in the house of the Ainu clan leader who served as the sootna (supervisor of multiple villages) of Nayoro on the west coast of Karaft, and was passed down. This is an extremely rare historical document that conveys the relationship.

The attached library will hold a special panel exhibition introducing this document and related materials.
