Our university's Slavic-Eurasian Research Center will hold the ``National University Research Center Conference Third Division (Humanities and Social Sciences) Symposium ``Century of Crisis'''' on October 13th.

Even into the 21st century, we continue to face problems that threaten world order and sustainability, such as the Ukraine crisis and global warming. This symposium is an attempt to consider past crises in world history from the perspective of a century.

This symposium will be moderated by Assistant Professor Tomoyuki Murakami of the University's Slavic-Eurasian Research Center, with opening remarks by Director Yasuhiro Yukimatsu and closing remarks by Motoki Nomachi, Director Slavic-Eurasian Research Center. We are also planning to give report lectures by Specially Appointed Associate Professor Yoichi Isahaya and Professor Nobuhiro Naganawa of Slavic-Eurasian Research Center.
