Our university's Field Science Center for Northern Biosphere Tomakomai Research Forest will be holding a "Tick Science Cafe in the University Forest - Let's learn about ticks!" on September 30th.

When we enter the forest, we can hear the chirping of wild birds and see colorful creatures in our field of vision, which soothe us. There are creatures in the forest that welcome us. It's a "tick". This time, we will be holding an event where you can experience the fascination of living things called ticks, even though you are moderately afraid of them, by collecting and observing ticks that live in Hokkaido.
