A new article, “No. 3 ‘Education and Research as soft power,'” is now available on the President’s Column section of the special website of Hokkaido University.

In the President’s Column, HOKIN Kiyohiro, President of Hokkaido University, addresses the international topics surrounding the university and shares his thoughts on a daily basis. Considering the internationalization of the university, the messages are written in English, so that international students and people from overseas can read them. In this column, he talks about the university’s research capabilities, mentioning the high evaluation the university has received in THE Impact Ranking.
