Hokkaido has released ``Hokkaido Zero Challenge! Household Account Book (app for visualizing household CO₂ emissions)'' to the public.

In Hokkaido, greenhouse gas emissions per person are approximately 1.3 times higher than the national average due to heating during the winter, and CO2 emissions from households account for 23% of Hokkaido's total emissions.
In Hokkaido, we have developed an app called ``Hokkaido Zero Challenge! Household Account Book'' that allows you to visualize household CO₂ emissions, and started making it available to the public on July 28th, with the aim of reducing emissions in each household.
This app allows you to enter your monthly electricity and gas usage and charges, and then see changes in emissions compared to the previous year and the previous month, comparisons with similar households, and reduction status by municipality.
