We would like to inform you that the International Universities Climate Alliance (IUCA), of which our university is a member, will hold the Urban Climate Masterclass as follows.
Aimed at urban planners, architects, sustainable development consultants, local governments, graduate students, and researchers, this event will provide essential knowledge to address today's challenges posed by climate change in the built environment and urban areas. Through expert presentations, workshops and discussions, we aim to provide the skills, techniques and skills needed to manage urban thermal mitigation and achieve net-zero built environments through expert presentations, workshops and discussions. We will explore "techniques to do so."

Members of IUCA member schools receive a 10% discount on registration fees. - Graduate students: For graduate students affiliated with Hokkaido University, the university plans to provide support for registration fees (approximately 5 students). If you wish to receive financial support, please do not apply directly to IUCA, but please send your affiliation, academic year, name, and e-mail to the International Cooperation Division (global@oia.hokudai.ac.jp) by August 4th (Friday). Please let us know. *If we receive a large number of applications, we may ask you to submit additional materials. Additionally, you may not be able to receive support.
*If you wish to participate face-to-face, there will be no support from the university for transportation, accommodation, etc.
*Please note that those eligible for financial support will be required to submit a report (1 A4 sheet) after the event.
