Hokkaido, the Hokkaido National Research Organization (Hokkaido Research Institute), and our university have announced the ``2023 Science Park'' Let's all enjoy science! A Science Festival for Children will be held on August 5th.
"Science Park" is a science experience event where children, who will be responsible for the future of Hokkaido, can learn about science and technology while having fun. Companies and research institutes will introduce science that is familiar to them.
Additionally, this year's Science Park will be held in two parts: a hands-on classroom and an online session. It will also give you hints for your free research during summer vacation, so please join us!

In addition, JAL and our university will hold the "JAL Origami Airplane Class [JAL x Hokkaido]" on the same day.
JAL pilots and staff will serve as instructors certified by the Origami Plane Association and will teach you how to fold origami planes that fly well. In the first half of the classroom, we will hold an ``aviation class'' where we will introduce you to the work required to fly an airplane safely and various topics related to airplanes.
