The national government, Hokkaido, and Sapporo City are working to realize zero-carbon Hokkaido and establish Sapporo City's status as an international environmental and financial city by promoting green transformation (GX) that leverages the potential of renewable energy within Hokkaido. We established Team Sapporo-Hokkaido, a consortium made up of industry, academia, government, and finance, with the aim of establishing this.
"Team Sapporo-Hokkaido" will work together with industry, academia, government and financial institutions to carry out initiatives necessary to strengthen and expand financial transactions, as well as promote initiatives that will contribute to the promotion of GX in Hokkaido and Sapporo City. To commemorate this step, we will hold a symposium.
