Our School of Agriculture, Graduate School of Agriculture, and Research Faculty of Agriculture will hold the 63rd Clock Tower Salon ``Let's Ask School of Agriculture'' on June 14th at the Sapporo City Clock Tower (official name: former Sapporo Agricultural College Demonstration Hall). To do.

The theme of the 63rd session is "Persistent Plant Parasites". Agricultural crops are always at risk of disease (growth abnormalities due to parasitism by other organisms), and the damage caused by these diseases is enormous worldwide. Effectively controlling plant diseases is extremely important from the standpoint of stable food production and reducing environmental burden. At this time's Clock Tower Salon, we have invited two professors who have spent many years researching plant diseases caused by mold, which is currently a problem, to discuss the disease and its countermeasures from various angles. Please introduce your knowledge.
