In collaboration with Toppan Printing Co., Ltd., our university has established the Dementia Comprehensive Research Division, an industry creation division that collaborates with Hokkaido University's Dementia Research Center, which conducts comprehensive research on diagnostic technology for dementia.

Our university and Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. are jointly conducting research on early diagnosis technology for Alzheimer's disease by detecting exosomes using Toppan Printing's highly sensitive fluorescence detection technology "Digital ICA®". We will continue to evolve it further in the future. We will also work on a wide range of research topics, including the early diagnosis of dementia such as Alzheimer's disease through evaluation and analysis of cognitive function, methods for evaluating cognitive function, and the search for biological biomarkers for diagnosis.

In the future, we will proceed with joint research at facilities such as the Food & Medical Innovation (FMI) International Center on Hokkaido University campus.
