Our university's Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences will hold the 27th Applied Ethics/Applied Philosophy Study Group, "The Past and Present of LGBTQ Tourism in Japan" on March 5th.
As social recognition of LGBTQ people spreads, discussions are starting to take place about the consideration given to people in the tourism field, also known as LGBTQ tourism, and the new consumer group called LGBTQ. This study group aims to stimulate future academic discussion by focusing on one aspect of "LGBTQ tourism" in a broader sense in Japan's past and present.
