*G7 Sapporo Climate, Energy and Environment Ministers Meeting Executive Committee
It has been decided that the "Climate, Energy and Environment Ministers' Meeting" will be held in Sapporo, one of the government officials' meetings related to the G7 Summit to be held in Japan in 2023. In preparation for the event, the "G7 Sapporo Climate, Energy and Environment Ministers' Meeting Executive Committee" was established in December 2022, consisting of Hokkaido, Sapporo City, and private organizations. In preparation for holding the meeting, this executive committee has established an acceptance system that works together with the public and private sectors to support the smooth holding of the meeting.
In addition, the meeting will be used as an opportunity to disseminate Hokkaido and Sapporo's environmental measures and SDGs initiatives domestically and internationally, leading to increased environmental awareness and behavioral changes among Hokkaido residents, citizens, and businesses, and spreading the appeal of the region both domestically and internationally. We also carry out projects to promote our products.
