Our University's Institute of Low Temperature Science and Kanazawa University's Center for Environmental Research in the Japanese Sea Region concluded a collaboration agreement on Monday, December 19, 2020.

The purpose of this agreement is to build on the research cooperation that has been cultivated over many years, and to develop research in the fields of low temperature science and environmental science by building closer and more systematic collaboration.

In the future, we will further establish creative and pioneering research bases related to geoscientific research in the Japan Sea region and the Okhotsk region, environmental issues such as global warming and transboundary pollution, and loss of biodiversity. It is expected that research exchange will become more active.
