To date, many students from our university have taken on the challenge of the Hult Prize, which is said to be the world's largest student business idea competition.

The Hokkaido University Hult Prize Steering Committee, which supports this challenge, was nominated for the 2022 ESEAA Program of the Year Award in recognition of its activities. This committee is mainly comprised of students and operates the OnCampus Program (internal competition), which is the first stage of HultPrize.

The top 25 universities with OnCampus Programs around the world are nominated for the 2022 ESEAA Program of the Year Award, and our university is the only school selected from Japan. Nominations are divided into five regions, and our university is nominated in East & Southeast Asia.
After a public vote, the winners (universities) will be decided at a competition held in Nairobi, Kenya from July 1st to 3rd.
