Our university established the "Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) (DEI Promotion Headquarters)" on April 1, 2022.

 

In order to realize a gender-equal society, our university has created an environment where female researchers can work with future prospects in various careers and life stages, and has aimed to diversify human resources in research and education. Meanwhile, at the same time, efforts such as the Super Global Program and the Tenure Track Program promoted the appointment of foreign researchers and young researchers, and researchers affiliated with our university had diverse backgrounds in terms of age, position, nationality, etc. is progressing markedly.

Against this background, in FY2020, the Female Researcher Support Office was established as the "Diversity and Inclusion Office" as a system that not only supports female researchers but also addresses university-wide issues related to "diversity and inclusion." The name was changed to ``Research Environment Promotion Office,'' and the `` Statement on the Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion'' was declared on December 1, 2021.

 

In order to further promote diversity at our university, we will progressively rename the Diversity Research Environment Promotion Office, and on April 1, 2022, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) (DEI Promotion Headquarters) as a new management organization. deployed.
