The ``Coalition of Universities and Others Contributing to Achieving Carbon Neutrality,'' in which our university participates, will hold a general symposium on March 11th.
The Universities Coalition aims to spread efforts toward carbon neutrality from universities to the region, country, and world, and to contribute to bringing about better changes in the way society exists through dissemination.July 29, 2021 It was established on the 1st and currently has 191 participating universities. This time, we will report on the progress and challenges of the activities of the five working groups, and hold a panel discussion to share awareness on how we envision our future society in order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
In the introduction to the working group's activities, Professor Taro Yamauchi of the University's Faculty of Health Sciences is scheduled to give a presentation.
