The United Nations University SDG University Collaboration Platform (SDG-UP), of which our university is a member, is recruiting students to participate in the United Nations University Global Seminar to be held in March 2022.

The United Nations University Global Seminar is designed to raise awareness of the global issues facing contemporary society and the efforts of the United Nations. It is a unique opportunity for students and young professionals to interact and discuss specific issues through lectures and group discussions with prominent scholars and practitioners from Japan and abroad.

Those who wish to participate in this seminar will be recommended to the United Nations University SDG University Collaboration Platform (SDG-UP) after their university covers the tuition fee. If you would like to make a recommendation, please fill out the necessary information below and apply by email by Monday, February 7, 2022.

 

Record

Recommendation target: Hokkaido University undergraduate and graduate students (regardless of department or major)

*Teachers are not eligible.
Number of recommenders: Several people (4-5 people planned)

Conditions: English proficiency sufficient to attend lectures, have discussions, and make presentations.

*Interpretation will not be provided.
Cost: The university will cover the tuition fee of 30,000 yen.

How to apply: Please fill in your name, affiliation (undergraduate school, graduate school, etc.), year, and apply by email to the person in charge below.

Other: After attending the seminar, we will ask you to submit a participation report (about 1-2 A4 pages).
