The Hokkaido University Ainu and Indigenous Studies Center is pleased to welcome Ms. Kimie Harada, author of the book "I've Decided to Quit Being Ainu!" (Jurosha), published this September. She will speak about the hardships and joys she experienced while writing the book, as well as the changes in her feelings after its publication.
In addition, the speaker will share anecdotes that could not be included in the book, as well as their thoughts and feelings about the writing process and the intentions behind the book.
