The Hokkaido University Institute for the Promotion of Business-Regional Collaboration, together with Nishiyama Seimen and Bell Foods, will be implementing the "A Ramen Project Created with Students: Capturing the Charms of Hokkaido in Every Bowl."
Our concept is to maximize the appeal of Hokkaido ingredients and deliver the unique deliciousness of Hokkaido, aiming to commercialize ramen as a souvenir from Hokkaido.
Throughout the three-part activity, participants will actually eat various kinds of ramen, learn about Hokkaido's ramen and food culture, and brainstorm ideas within the teams formed within the project, such as "a flavor that is characteristic of Hokkaido," "a flavor that would make a great souvenir," "recommended ways to eat it," and "packaging that makes people want to pick it up."
We will bring together the unique "Hokkaido-ness" born from each individual's experiences and perspectives to create a new "Hokkaido-style drink."
