Hokkaido University Hospital and Wakkanai Municipal Hospital will hold a public medical lecture in Wakkanai City entitled "Latest Treatments for Lung Cancer and Initiatives in Online Medical Care" to raise awareness of the online medical consultation (inter-hospital telemedicine) initiative that the two hospitals are jointly promoting.
On the day of the event, a respiratory medicine specialist will provide an easy-to-understand explanation of the importance of early detection of lung cancer and the latest treatments. In addition, we will introduce the telemedicine initiatives being implemented at both hospitals as a new form of medical care that connects people to advanced medical care while remaining in their local area, and we hope to take this opportunity to think together with everyone about the future of regional healthcare.
Anyone who wants to learn more about lung cancer, is concerned about their own or their family's health, or wants to learn about the latest medical treatments and online consultations is welcome to participate.
No registration is required, and participation is free. We look forward to your participation!
