Hokkaido University CoSTEP will host the 148th Science Cafe Sapporo, titled "Even Though We Know It... - Exploring Judgment Habits from a Behavioral Economics Perspective -".
In this science café, we will be inviting Professor Yasuki Takahashi from Hokkaido University, who researches neuroeconomics and behavioral economics. Neuroeconomics analyzes human rationality from the perspective of brain and hormone function, while behavioral economics analyzes it from the perspective of mental function.
On the day of the event, we will proceed by having you answer several questions. After thinking about the answers and then listening to the explanations, you will be able to see what was going on in your own mind. Furthermore, in the second half, we will also discuss AI, which has become integrated into our lives.
