Hokkaido University's COI-NEXT "Co-creation Hub for Mind and Body Life Design" will, following on from last year, hold a "Short Story Contest" for junior and senior high school students nationwide, with the aim of providing new learning opportunities through the exploration of young people's values and creative experiences, in cooperation with the "Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia," an international short film festival accredited by the U.S. Academy Awards.

Starting June 10th, 2026 (Wednesday), we will begin accepting submissions for short stories on the themes of "Sense of Distance," "Ethical Relationships," and "Fulfilling Future."
