The "We are Engine." project, which aims to increase the number of women in engineering, will hold "We are Engine. FES in Hokkaido University Festival 2026" in conjunction with the engineering festival.

What does "We are Engine" mean?

The shortage of female engineering talent poses a significant risk to companies and industries, and is a problem that society as a whole must address. We are Engine. is a project that shines a light on female researchers and engineers active in universities and companies, presents diverse role models to junior and senior high school students and society, and aims to spread a movement toward solving this problem.

We offer a variety of activities that can be enjoyed by middle and high school students, as well as families, including hands-on workshops, laboratory tours, and corners where you can easily interact with current students and female researchers and engineers.

Of course, those who are not very familiar with engineering are also very welcome, so please feel free to invite others and join us.
