This year, the "Hokkaido University Fair" will be held again at the "Kita Kitchen" Aurora Town store.

Sales of Hokkaido University brand certified products, including new items, are planned.

 

 

"Hokkaido University Junmai Ginjo 'Kita no Hirameki' (Northern Flash)," a sake born from the "Hokkaido University Sake Brewing Project" implemented to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Hokkaido University's founding, will be available for purchase ahead of its general retail release (April 14th).

"Kita no Hirameki" was created with the combined efforts of faculty, staff, and students working together from rice planting to harvesting in the rice paddies on our Sapporo campus, and with the cooperation of Nippon Seishu Co., Ltd., students also participated in the brewing process. In addition, the sake lees, which were so popular last year that they sold out every day, will be available in increased quantities this year. During the fair, we will also be offering daily tastings of amazake (sweet rice drink) made with the sake lees of "Kita no Hirameki," in limited quantities.

 

In addition, approximately 60 certified brand products from Hokkaido University will be gathered in one place.

We have many products that utilize ingredients developed and produced by Hokkaido University, including "Hokkaido University Shorthorn Beef," "Hokkaido University Milk," "Hokkaido University Raspberry®," and "Hokkaido University Gagome®," so please stop by and take this opportunity to visit us.
