Hokkaido University Museum will be holding its summer special exhibition for 2026, "Dinosaurs of Hokkaido University," commemorating the 150th anniversary of the founding of Hokkaido University, from July 3rd (Fri) to November 1st (Sun). Prior to this, we will be unveiling the "Complete Kamuysaurus."

What is "The Complete Kamuysaurus"?
This is a complete, full-body skeleton of Kamuysaurus, reconstructed from missing parts of a fossil through a joint research project between NHK Sapporo Broadcasting Station and Hokkaido University Museum.
The item that was on display at NHK Sapporo Broadcasting Station until February 2026 is finally coming to our museum.
Experience the impressive, life-sized spectacle, measuring 8 meters in length.
