The Hokkaido University Senryu Contest 2025, jointly organized by the Integrated URA Office and the Institute for the Advancement of Sustainability, was again a great success. The contest, which accepted submissions in November 2025, was held to enhance communication within the university community.
Many senryu were received from students, faculty, and other members of the university community. From among these submissions, the selected winning entries are presented here. We hope you enjoy each senryu, as it reflects the unique sensibilities of its creator.
