Hokkaido University's Institute for the Promotion of Business-Regional Collaboration, Sapporo City, Otaru University of Commerce, and STARTUP HOKKAIDO will hold the "STARTUP HOKKAIDO Collaborative Lecture: Understanding Social Issues and Cultivating Future Skills to Thrive in the Future" from April 20 to July 13, 2026.
To survive in this rapidly changing era, we need the ability to understand social issues and create new value.
In this course, you will acquire "future skills" to shape the future, from understanding social issues to generating ideas, building business models, and giving a final presentation.
Through team-based idea generation and discussions, participants will learn critical thinking and leadership skills necessary to solve social issues, and gain practical experience in startup thinking and innovation.
In addition, experienced entrepreneurs and experts in various fields participate as guest lecturers, allowing students to learn from their real-world experiences and insights.
