Hokkaido University's School of Veterinary Medicine was founded in 1952 and will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2027.
We have planned the Hokkaido University School of Veterinary Medicine 75th Anniversary Commemoration Project to pass on the knowledge and ideals of veterinary medicine that our predecessors have built to the next generation and continue to challenge ourselves for further development into the future.
In implementing this project, we hope to create a synergistic effect with Hokkaido University celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2026, so we have brought the schedule forward by one year and will hold the event mainly in October 2026 under the slogan "A Bridge to 100 Years - Knowledge and Challenges from 75 Years Since the Founding of School of Veterinary Medicine."
