The Data-Driven Interdisciplinary Research Emergence Center (D-RED), a National University Corporation, Comprehensive Innovation Emergence Organization, Hokkaido University, will hold a Regional Innovation Symposium entitled "Digital Technology that Changes Society - Possibilities for the Future Expanding from Hokkaido" on Wednesday, March 11th.

 

In the 9th Hokkaido Comprehensive Development Plan, "society-changing digital technologies" are positioned as an important trend surrounding our country.
In recent years, advances in AI technology, including ChatGPT, and advances in ICT technology have brought about major changes in our lives and the structure of society, and solving social issues and creating new innovations can no longer be discussed without considering digital technology.

This symposium will report on the results of Hokkaido University and the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau's collaborative efforts to resolve regional issues, and will also serve as an opportunity to look ahead to the possibilities of further utilizing digital technology. We look forward to the participation of everyone who is interested in the symposium theme.
