On Saturday, March 21st, the Hokkaido University One Health Research Center and the Hokkaido University School of Veterinary Medicine will be holding an event to discuss the brown bears living in Hokkaido, with experts studying brown bears and zookeepers in charge of caring for brown bears at Maruyama Zoo.

There are many different opinions about brown bears, but we asked children who will live in the future to draw pictures of the future they imagine with brown bears, and together we thought about what we could do, what we should know, and what we should discuss in order to reach that future.
