An exhibition of works planned and produced by four students from the Hokkaido University Liberal Arts Deepening Program, "Exploring Animal Photography Methodology - Derived Positions" (sponsored by Fujifilm House of Photography in Metaverse), will be held from February 27th to March 13th.
Tadateru Takahashi is a nature photographer and former sniper in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force who collaborated on the special exhibition "Deep Animal Photography: Relationships - Animals Encountered by Photographer Tadateru Takahashi," held at Shoka no Mori, Faculty of Humanities and Human Sciences, Hokkaido University, in 2022.
As a sequel to the original exhibition, a renewed exhibition tracing Takahashi's career is being held in Fujifilm's metaverse space, "House of Photography in Metaverse," and three students Graduate School of Humanities and Human Sciences and one student from School of Humanities and Human Sciences are involved in planning, producing, and supervising the exhibition.
