The Hokkaido University Sustainability Promotion Organization and the Hokkaido University Museum have begun the permanent operation of the "Hokkaido University Museum Stamp Rally" from Tuesday, January 6th.
This stamp rally is designed so that by collecting all the stamps placed in six permanent exhibition areas within the museum, a picture based on the museum's motif will be completed. The stamps and pictures are language-neutral and can be enjoyed by a wide range of people, including preschoolers and visitors from overseas. You can take the completed card home as a memento of your visit.
The General Museum showcases many of the university's research results and various initiatives. It is used for student education as part of classes, and is also widely popular with people outside the university, hosting school trip students and holding Saturday citizen lectures.
Since its opening, the General Museum has maintained free admission, however, certain costs are incurred in maintaining the collections and continuing to offer high-quality public lectures. Therefore, to cover these costs, we ask that you make a donation when participating in this stamp rally. The donation amount is optional. After making a donation in the donation box at the main entrance of the museum or via PayPay, you will be given a stamp rally sheet at the reception desk. You can also have a museum stamp stamped on the back.
Please enjoy this stamp rally and also take the time to view the museum's collection.
