The Accessibility Support Office of the Hokkaido University Student Counseling Center and the Higher Education Training Center will jointly host a seminar titled "FD/SD Training: Fundamentals and Practice of Reasonable Accommodation - Support and Response Ideas Learned from Case Studies" on February 9th.

*This training can be viewed by faculty and staff of Hokkaido University and member schools of the Hokkaido FD/SD Council.

While efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to students are steadily progressing at higher education institutions, there are likely many faculty and staff members who have experienced confusion and uncertainty about how to respond when actually providing support.
In this training session, we will review basic knowledge about reasonable accommodation, and Professor Murata will give a lecture on the concept of reasonable accommodation and ways to provide support and responses, using specific examples.
