The Hokkaido University Regional Fisheries Co-Creation Center will hold the "Second Opinion Exchange Meeting for the Construction of the Future Co-Creation Platform (tentative name)" on February 26th.
The purpose of this opinion exchange meeting is to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders from across the industrial sector to share their understanding of the fundamental issues and current situation facing each industry, identify the issues that need to be addressed, and find a direction for resolving these issues. Facing challenges such as a declining and aging population, as well as the slump in key industries such as the fishing industry, the Hakodate region aims to build a platform unique to the region and continue to work on resolving these issues in order to solve them and revitalize local industries.
