Hokkaido University and Nanohana Hokkaido Co., Ltd. have signed an agreement to acquire naming rights for university facilities, and the nickname for the Faculty of Medicine cafeteria will be "Nanohana Kitchen" from November 1, 2025 to October 31, 2030. This is the third naming rights granted to a Faculty of Medicine facility.

Nanohana Hokkaido Co., Ltd. is a group company of Medical System Network Co., Ltd., which operates community pharmacy and pharmaceutical network businesses, and operates approximately 130 Nanohana pharmacies in Hokkaido. Through multi-disciplinary collaboration, the company is focusing on initiatives to improve the expertise of medical professionals, building a medical infrastructure that allows everyone to live in peace and be themselves, and contributing to healthy living as a "light in the town."

At the commemorative ceremony held on Tuesday, November 4th, after greetings from Nanohana Hokkaido Co., Ltd. President and CEO Yasushi Okura and Graduate Faculty of Medicine Shinya Tanaka, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held by Medical System Network Co., Ltd. President and CEO Inao Tajiri, Nanohana Hokkaido Co., Ltd. President and CEO Okura, Faculty of Medicine Tanaka, and Deputy Faculty of Medicine Tsuyoshinobu Taketomi, and the ceremony ended in great success.
