The Hokkaido University Integrated URA Headquarters will be co-hosting an educational lecture by POs of the AMED Innovative Cutting-Edge Research and Development Program on February 13th, in collaboration with the Clinical Research and Development Center of Hokkaido University Hospital Medical and Health Sciences Research and Development Organization.

We have invited Professor Akiyoshi Fukamizu of the University of Tsukuba, who serves as the Program Officer (PO) for the AMED Innovative Advanced Research and Development Program "Understanding the Fundamental Mechanisms of Aging and Elucidating Disease Mechanisms Associated with Its Disruption" and is himself a recipient of the 2020 AMED CREST grant, to speak about the important points he considers important when conducting research. He will also share his valuable experiences applying for and being selected for external funding from AMED and other sources. Questions from participants will also be accepted, so we encourage anyone interested in obtaining research funding from AMED or in the field of life sciences to attend. This lecture is aimed at faculty and graduate students affiliated with Hokkaido University Alliance member institutions.
