The Sapporo Gender Equality Center and the NPO Girls' Junior and Senior High School Science and Engineering Career Path Project will hold a workshop for female junior and senior high school students considering a career in science and engineering - Your passion will create the future - on January 12th.

This one-day program is designed to support female junior and senior high school students who have thoughts like, "I'm interested in science and engineering, but I can't imagine what studying or working in this field would be like," "I want to hear from seniors who are actually studying here and people who work in the field," or "I want to know what kind of work style is right for me."

During this event, a "Role Model Talk" will be held in which senior students active in the science and engineering fields will honestly talk about what inspired them to choose their career path and their current jobs. Graduates of Hokkaido University's Graduate School of Engineering and faculty members from Faculty of Engineering will also be appearing.
