The Hokkaido University Center for Advanced Tourism Studies and the Hokkaido University School of International Media, Public Relations and Tourism Studies will be co-hosting a public seminar entitled "Marine Sports and Adventure Tourism" on December 21st, in collaboration with Goldwin Inc.
We will hold an open seminar to consider the future of adventure tourism (AT), inviting ocean adventurer Kojiro Shiraishi, who set the record (at the time) for the youngest person in history to circumnavigate the globe solo, without stopping or being refueled, by yacht. Students enrolled in the "Adventure Tourism Seminar" course at the Graduate School of International Media, Communication, and Tourism Studies will also give presentations.
