With the cooperation of Team Sapporo-Hokkaido, in which our university is also a member, Sapporo City will hold a seminar for university and high school students titled "Learn about the Future of Sapporo! Easy-to-Understand GX Seminar - GX, AI, and Finance Edition" on January 24, 2026.

This year, Sapporo City will be holding two seminars to promote understanding and awareness of "GX and finance," primarily targeting high school and university students and young people in their 30s.
This second event will be held at the Daiwa House Premist Dome, and will feature guest Yoichi Ochiai, a driving force behind social change, as a special seminar exploring new possibilities in GX, AI, and finance. Professor Yasuhiro Yamanaka Faculty of Environmental Earth Science will also be appearing as a speaker and panelist.
We look forward to your participation in this 120-minute event, where we will work together to paint a vision for the next generation of society that balances the environment and the economy.
