In order to promote social implementation with local governments, Faculty of Dental Medicine at Hokkaido University is working in collaboration with Hokkaido Prefecture as part of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's "FY2025 Dental Health Care Provision System Construction Study Project."
The purpose of this project is to contribute to the promotion of the Hokkaido Dental Health Care Promotion Plan and the Hokkaido Medical Care Plan, and through data analysis using electronic prescription information, etc., we aim to obtain the basic information necessary to build a dental health care delivery system that is tailored to the characteristics of each region, such as strengthening cooperation within the region and ensuring dental health care across regions.
In addition, a dedicated page for the "Project to Examine the Establishment of a Dental Health Care Delivery System" has been set up on the Hokkaido website, which contains materials from the Dental Health Care Delivery System Examination Committee, the status of dental care workers in the prefecture, the Doctor Bank Promotion Project, job information, and more. Please take a look.
Going forward, the institute will further strengthen its collaboration with local dental health administration, including in Hokkaido, and contribute to the development of dental health care that is rooted in the local community.
