Hokkaido University Museum is now accepting applications for the "Rock Parataxonomist Training Course (Beginner)."

The Earth we live on is mostly made up of rocks. In this course, you will learn how the rocks that make up the part of the Earth's surface called the crust were formed and their origins. You will also learn what minerals rocks are made up of, and how to observe actual rock samples and identify the types of rocks and minerals.
